Principal's Message

Welcome to McLain Attendance Center, Home of the Rams!

McLain Attendance Center has a current enrollment of approximately 220 students and serves grades Pre-K through 8th. Our school received the PREPS Award for the 2016-2017 school year. MAC has also been recognized annually in the state BETA competition, as well as the Scholar Athletic Team Award from the MHSAA.

Our mission statement is “A Tradition of Excellence.” We strive everyday to ensure our students excel not only in their academics, but character/leadership qualities as well. It is our goal that every child will have a well-rounded experience here at McLain. We are proud to provide opportunities for our students to excel through BETA, Student Council, Jr. High Math Team, Band, Choir, Fellowship of Christian Students, Color Guard, Football, Cheerleading, Basketball, Archery, and Golf. These organizations and sports help mold our students’ character and leadership skills.  

It is my honor each and every day to work with the students, staff, and parents of MAC. Our teachers are committed to providing high-quality instruction and have been well-trained on current, researched-based educational practices to foster student growth on all levels. Learning is a shared responsibility between the students, teachers, parents, and community where everyone involved in the educational setting is a stakeholder.
